Manufacture
Once the cashmere has been sorted, cleaned separated and graded, it moves on again to the spinning mills. The rare white cashmere is used for the pale pastel shades, the brown and grey for the darker tones. Each follows its own path acquiring, as it goes, that richness and depth of colour that is associated only with cashmere.
Then comes the carding, spinning and winding onto cones, ready for the next stage, the knitting.
